ABOUT CAMP MOUNTAINVIEW

Camp Mountainview, a ministry of The Salvation Army, has been operating in Houston BC since 1985.

Camp Mountainview is a place of refuge, fun and growth for people of all ages across Northern British Columbia. Located on a small lake, we offer canoeing, hiking, archery, a climbing wall, campfires, arts & crafts, an outdoor basketball court, wide games and more! We reside on We’tsuet’en land and plans for a garden are in place as we seek to walk gently and learn to best care for what has been given to us.

A few of the highlights from a week at camp are the overnight sleepovers in our teepees, swim time at the local pool and the moments we spend together worshiping and praising our Creator.

Centered around the love of Jesus, it is our mission to create an experience that is extraordinarily fun, creatively challenging and full of adventure in a safe environment that will bring our campers and staff closer to each other and Christ.
