Large Group Rentals

Accommodations

At Camp Sunrise, our facility is primarily designed to operate as a summer camp. During the off-season, however, we are pleased to offer our space for rentals, making it a welcoming setting for events, gatherings, weddings, and more. While availability may be limited at certain times, we are happy to work with groups to create a memorable and comfortable experience in a peaceful camp environment.

Chapel

A beautiful space ideal for enjoying music, hosting large group meetings, or simply relaxing and taking in the natural surroundings the camp has to offer. This large, open meeting or service area accommodates up to 200 people and can be set up with tables and chairs. A built-in sound system is available for bands or speakers.

Dining Hall

A large, welcoming space with views overlooking the camp—perfect for enjoying our amazing food. The venue can seat up to 180 guests with rectangular tables or 150 guests with round tables.

Redwood

An open multipurpose building with one bathroom to hold meetings, or small group discussions for approximately 40 people.  

Gooding Hall

The oldest building on our site, featuring two spacious rooms. The smaller room features couches and a TV, making it ideal for small group discussions or meetings. The larger room accommodates up to 120 people for large group meetings or services and is furnished with tables and chairs. While there are no restrooms within the building, a large washroom facility is located just steps away.

Alder/Birch/Cedar Lodge

Nestled within the lush greenery of Sunrise, these three lodges offers all the amenities needed to comfortably host a fully self-contained getaway for your organization.

Bedrooms in Each Lodge:

  • 7 bedrooms in total
  • Each room has 2 bunk beds (2 rooms have 2 single beds instead)
  • Sleeps up to 24 guests, or 14 guests using lower bunks only

Bathrooms in Each Lodge:

  • 2 large, shared bathrooms, each with 3 toilet stalls and 3 shower stalls
  • Accessible show stall
  • 1 private bathroom with a shower

Fir/Hemlock

Seated at the centre of camp is Fir Cabin, a perfect smaller cabin for small groups who want a true rustic camp experience. 

5 bedrooms  

  • 4 Rooms have 2 bunk beds; 1 room has 1 bunk and 1 single bed.  
  • Sleeps 18, Sleeps 10 only using lower bunks.  
  • 2 bathrooms (No showers).  

Maple Cabin

Creek side cabin that is a great newly renovated cabin for larger groups who want to share a space together and is fully self-contained.  

4 bedrooms  

  • 1 Rooms have 4 bunk beds, 1 room has 3 bunk beds, and 2 rooms have 2 bunk beds.  
  • Sleeps 22, sleeps 10 only using lower bunks.  
  • 3 bathrooms with 2 showers. (One accessible bathroom) 

Variety Cabin

Creek side cabin that is a great newly renovated cabin for larger groups who want to share a space together and is fully self-contained.

6 bedrooms  

  • 4 rooms with 3 bunk beds and 2 rooms with 2 bunk beds. 
  • Sleeps 28 sleeps or 14 using lower bunks only.   
  • 3 bathrooms, with2 showers. (One Handy cap bathroom) 

Pine Cabin

Creek side cabin that is a great newly renovated cabin for larger groups who want to share a space together and is fully self-contained.

5 bedrooms  

  • 2 rooms with 3 bunk beds and 3 rooms with 2 bunk beds. 
  • Sleeps 24 and sleeps 12 using lower bunks only.  
  • 2 bathrooms, with 2 showers.  

Morrison Lodge (Boys Staff)

A great retreat or family reunion space to have your own rooms and a space to connect as a group, also fully self-contained. 

12 bedrooms  

  • All bedrooms have 2 single beds.  
  • Sleeps 24, all single beds sleeps,12 not sharing rooms.  
  • One large living space with a full kitchen.  Two large bathrooms with 2 showers 2 stalls in each.  
  • Also 2 of the rooms have on suites with full bathroom and shower.  

Pindred Lodge (Girls Staff)

This lodge is great for large groups who want their own spaces to relax but also is fully self-contained and can spend all your time here.

15 bedrooms  

  • Sleeps 22 people  – 4 rooms with 2 single beds , 6 rooms with a single bed, 2 rooms with 2 bunk beds 
  • Three bathrooms, two separate living space, one full kitchen

Ark Suite

A beautiful suite that offers you all you would need for a getaway with you and your loved ones. 

  • 1 bedroom suite with a queen bed 
  • 1 pull out couch in the living room 
  • Sleep 4 people 
  • Full kitchen  
  • 1 full bathroom with shower.  

New West Suite

A rustic family cabin that allows for all your family needs to enjoy staying at Camp.

  • 2 Bedroom suite 
  • 1 bedroom with a queen bed and a bunk bed 
  • 1 room with a queen bed 
  • 1 pull out couch in the living room 
  • 1 bathroom (no shower – shower in block washrooms) 
  • Full kitchen 

Lower Camp Cabins 1-5

A rustic cabin by the water that has everything you need for a peaceful getaway.

  • A murphy bed (queen) with a bunk bed (Can sleep 4 total).  
  • No bathrooms in these cabins, but close to block washrooms that has full bathrooms.  

Nurses Cabin (Collier)

A retreat dream that is creek side, a space to unwind and enjoy all camp has to offer with your own space to climb back into and enjoy the peace and quiet.  

2 bedrooms  

  • One room with a queen bed 
  • One room with a bunk bed 
  • Sleeps 4  
  • One on suite bathroom with shower. One bathroom with no shower.  
  • Kitchenette and small living space, with a deck overlooking a creek and a deck looking out into camp’s field.  

Amenities

Enjoy access to our heated outdoor swimming pool, with swim times and guidelines conveniently posted on the Lower Camp bulletin board. The Tuck Shop & Camp Store, located in Lower Camp, offers snacks, cold drinks, and Camp Sunrise merchandise for guests to enjoy. Additional amenities include laundry facilities, waterfront access, and free Wi-Fi. Shared washroom facilities, including showers, are also available and located within easy walking distance of all Lower Camp accommodations.

Guests can also gather around our two campfire pits, one located by the waterfront for a more community-centered experience, and another tucked away in the woods for a quieter, more private setting.
