SR STAFF May 19 – Aug 19. The Program Coordinator is entrusted with the planning, implementation, and leadership of the summer programming. This position reports directly to the Program Director, Erica Azak, and collaborates closely with this role. The Program Coordinator oversees the program team, plans daily schedules for various camps, ensures cohesive programming, and maintains a safe, fun, intentional, and camper-focused environment. Strong leadership, team-building, and camp experience are essential for success in this role.
SR STAFF May 19 – Aug 19. The Assistant Program Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Program Coordinator in various tasks related to camp programming. This position is involved in the day to day operating of program activities such as archery, canoeing, rock climbing, games, crafts etc. as agreed upon with the Program Coordinator. The Assistant Program Coordinator should also be aware of operating policies and procedures and passionate about camp.
SR STAFF May 19 – Aug 19. The Recreation Coordinator (Rec Coordinator) is responsible for the safety, maintenance, and staffing of Rec activities at camp. This position requires a passion for outdoor activities such as canoeing, rock climbing, archery, camp games, and more. The Rec Coordinator collaborates with the program coordinator to ensure smooth operations. Record keeping, general equipment maintenance, and attention to safety procedures is crucial for this position.
June 30 – Aug 19. The Lifeguard position plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety of all water-related activities at Camp Mountainview. A strong understanding of safety policies and procedures, possession of National Lifeguard Service (NLS) training, and dedication to promoting water safety are essential qualifications for this position. Must also perform daily checks of water conditions, equipment, and ensure staff are adequately trained.

The LIT Coordinator is responsible for planning, preparing, promoting, and implementing a comprehensive program aimed at the personal, spiritual, and professional development of the LIT group. This position involves creating the daily schedules, coordinating guest speakers, providing spiritual support, and overseeing work experience placements. The LIT Coordinator is passionate about camp, demonstrates strong leadership skills, and works independently to ensure the success of the LIT program.
SR STAFF May 19 – Aug 19. The Bible Coordinator holds the responsibility for planning and implementing an engaging, dynamic, and theologically sound Bible Program. This role involves delivering daily large group and small group Bible lessons, providing support to cabin leaders in biblical teaching, ensuring theme continuity, and actively engaging in general programming.

The Cabin Leader Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and supervising the cabin leader team, offering support and compassion, participating in programming, as well as cabin leading in a cabin. This position is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, a passion for mentorship, and a genuine commitment to creating memorable camp experiences.
June 30 – Aug 19. Cabin Leaders play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and positive experience of campers during their stay at the camp. Working in teams of 2-3 leaders, they are responsible for the daily care, safety, and engagement of up to 16 campers. Cabin Leaders actively participate in camp programming and create a supportive environment where campers can thrive.
June 30 – Aug 19. Childcare Workers are responsible for providing care and programming for the children of Summer Staff. Childcare Workers oversee multiple children, ensuring each child has an individualized and enriching summer experience. This role involves creating engaging and age-appropriate programming, maintaining cleanliness and organization in childcare spaces, providing personal care such as feeding and diaper changes.

The Head Cook will play a pivotal role in managing the kitchen, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality meals that align with Salvation Army standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness, dietary provisions, and efficient food service.
June 30 – Aug 19. The Assistant Cook supports the Head Cook in the preparation and implementation of meal plans at the camp. This role involves food preparation and cooking, cleaning of equipment, daily logging, and checks. Key skills for this role include flexibility, a passion for cooking, the ability to work within a team, and awareness of dietary and allergy standards.
SR STAFF June 30 – Aug 19. The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for leading the Facilities Team in maintaining the cleanliness of the camp property and buildings. This role involves overseeing daily tasks, communicating with the Camp Director for task assignments, and ensuring that all responsibilities are completed to a high standard. Key skills for this role include self-motivation, leadership abilities, attention to detail, and a passion for maintaining the appearance of the camp.
June 30 – Aug 19. The Facilities Team is responsible for the cleanliness and general upkeep of the camp property and buildings. This team plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean, organized, and visually appealing environment for campers and staff. Responsibilities include daily cleaning of washrooms, garbage and recycling disposal, small general maintenance tasks, laundry, landscaping and grounds maintenance. Key skills for this role include self-motivation, attention to detail, and a passion for maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the camp.
June 30 – Aug 19. Dining Hall Attendants are responsible for creating a clean, efficient, and positive dining experience for campers. This role involves tasks related to food service, cleaning and sanitization, and organization of storage spaces. Key skills for this role include motivation, attention to details, investment in teamwork, and a positive attitude.
SR STAFF June 30 – Aug 19. The First Aid Attendant should possess a strong knowledge of safety procedures, exhibit a calm demeanor in stressful situations, and ideally hold OFA Level 3 certification. In this crucial role, the First Aid Attendant will provide emergency medical attention to campers and staff, ensuring a prompt and effective response to any health-related incidents. Familiarity with local emergency procedures and the ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations are essential qualifications for this position.
June 30 – Aug 19. Provides camper pick up and drop offs for Camp Mountainview as well as driving for programming within the week. Will need to have a valid Class 4 license.
