Alder, Birch & Cedar Lodges

These beautifully designed lodges feature 7 rooms which includes 5 with 2 sets of bunks (4 beds) and 2 rooms with 2 single beds. To the rear of each cabin are 2 separate shared washroom facilities and a small, private washroom with shower.

Groups can relax and unwind together in lounge areas located at the front of each Lodge. Alder, Birch and Cedar lodges each feature a kitchenette, couches and 2 table and chair sets. Guests can also relax and connect on the large patio areas at the entry to each of our lodges.

Morrison Lodge

Located in “Staff Lane”, this lodge is perfect for smaller, self-catered groups and features a large common area with kitchen. Morrison Lodge is divided into 2 wings, each containing 6 double rooms for a total of 24 beds. Each wing is equipped with one shared washroom facility as well as one ensuite washroom located in the rear bedroom of each wing. Morrison Lodge also includes laundry facilities and a large outdoor patio.

Maple, Pine & Variety Cabins

Maple, Pine and Variety Cabins sleep 22, 24 and 28 guests (respectively) in single bunk beds. Most rooms contain 2 sets of bunks each. Each of these cabins include washroom facilities with showers, toilet stalls and sinks. Large verandahs and central foyers can also allow for small group meetings and fellowship. These cabins are not winterized and are therefore only available subject to weather conditions.

Fir and Hemlock

Suitable for a more rustic Camp Sunrise experience, Fir and Hemlock each house 18 guests. These cabins have washroom facilities (sink & toilet) within but do not include shower facilities. These cabins are not winterized and are therefore only available subject to weather conditions.

Chapel

The Camp Sunrise Chapel can accommodate up to 200 guests. With a vaulted ceiling and windows surrounding, the Chapel is the perfect place for group activities from chapel services, team meetings, workshops and performances. The Chapel is equipped with basic A/V equipment and has WIFI access.

Gooding Hall

As the most historic building still in use at Camp Sunrise, Gooding Hall is a multi-purpose space. Groups can fellowship fireside, take part in workshops or roundtable discussions, or simply find a warm and dry place to gather and have fun during inclement weather. The space currently features a large, open meeting space with working wood fireplace as well as a small side room equipped with a kitchette.

The Ark Lounge

The Ark Lounge; a welcoming space where guests can unwind. Camp Sunrise souvenirs and other necessities in our expanded camp store.

Having fun and eating well; that’s the goal of the Camp Sunrise kitchen! Whether you are here for a summer camp session, retreat, or family function…let our kitchen prepare fresh, wholesome and healthy meals to fuel your body and mind while you spend your time enjoying the Camp Sunrise Spirit!

Every meal is prepared fresh with quality ingredients and specific to each group’s specific needs and requests. Comfort food is our specialty, but we know that simply means food that makes you feel good! Whether you are looking for home-style cooking like Grandma used to make…or something a little more health-focused, we can do that!

Every meal is planned with nutritional guidelines in mind and buffet style lunch and dinner always begins with our fully stocked salad bar; including a variety of greens, fresh vegetables and condiments. These days, most groups include individuals with a variety of special diet needs. Our Food Services Manager is excellent at going the extra mile to create delicious and filling meal options for most special diet needs, including vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free and more. Just ask!
